Hadra Kübra was born and grew up in Mardin-Turkey and obtained her undergraduate degree in Turkish Language Teaching from the Abant İzzet Baysal University in 2008 with High Honors.
She completed a master’s programme of Turkish Language Education at the same university in 2010, and a PhD degree in Turkish Language and Literature at the Ankara University in 2017. Her studies include Old Anatolian Turkish, Linguistics (especially multilingualism and sociolinguistic), and Turkish Teaching.
She started her career as a research assistant at the Mardin Artuklu University in 2009, and is now working there as an assistant professor.
Aside from this, she is a Turkish Education Coordinator and Turkish Language Teacher at London Yunus Emre Institute.
Hadra Kübra joined the Language Centre in the University of Cambridge, as CULP Turkish Teacher in September 2021.
