About using LC Resources

Use of the John Trim Centre and its language learning resources is free of charge to all current University members.

University members

Staff and students of the University are automatically members of the Language Centre.

If you are not a current member of the University, but would like to use the Language Centre, you may apply to become a fee-paying member.

Fee-paying members

Our current fee-paying members include Cambridge alumni, partners of university members, retired staff and other members of the public.

Either an annual fee (currently £54) or a termly fee (currently £18) is charged for access to the resources in the John Trim Centre. This includes an initial one-to-one appointment with one of our Language Advisers.

Due to copyright restrictions many of our online resources are only available to members of the University.
