Phase Two
Until between March - May 2007, the following changes were realized (not to be seen separately but as parts of a whole, feeding each other):
- a new curriculum with target attainment levels (for four years);
- an assessment scheme
- change of text books and matching course descriptions and syllabi;
- teacher training scheme through formal observations of teaching and feedback; weekly instructor meetings to establish standardization and to encourage best practice; informal feed-back sessions; and an annual academic course (Teaching Less Commonly Taught Languages).
