A Nigerian film, cheaply produced for the mass market but nevertheless thought-provoking and culturally interesting.

Through an emotional story about a young husband and wife the film raises awareness of the racial tension between the Ibo and Yoruba people in Nigeria and also depicts a clash of cultures as Western-style education and medical practices and traditional African herbalists and medicine-men struggle to find a way to co-exist.
