This is a course book in Tahitian for beginners where the language of tuition is French.

Begins with a chapter on pronunciation, followed by 23 progressive chapters that introduce the language through practical grammar e.g 'Les articles', 'L'adjectif'', 'Le verbe' etc.

Each chapter includes lots of useful examples and explanations with practice exercises (with answers). The end part of the book contains further reading passages, each with comprehension and translation exercises (correct French translations provided). Concludes with a Tahitian-French and French-Tahitian lexicon.
