A man called Ove

Hannes Holm (2015)

The film is a comedy-drama and is based on the book of the same name. It follows Ove, a 59-year-old retiree, struggling to get on in life since the death of his wife six months earlier and further isolated since being forced into early retirement.

As his bitterness grows, an unlikely friendship starts to develop with his new neighbour from Iran and her family.

In Swedish throughout with some spoken Persian and with optional English subtitles.
