A beginner level course comprising a book and 2 CDs plus an accompanying workbook and CD.

There is an emphasis on listening and speaking with all instruction in Swedish throughout with the aid of many illustrations and repetition of text in inventive ways to help the learner work out the meaning for themselves.

Grammar explanations are very minimal making this a good choice for those mostly interested in the spoken language and who like the challenge of being immersed in the target language from the beginning.
