This is a Swedish police drama based on two novels, The Secret and The Disciple, by Michael Hjorth and Hans Rosenfeldt.

A Psychologist who is just about to retire from the police force and still coming to terms with the loss of his wife and child in the 2004 tsunami, meets a former colleague and agrees to assist as a consultant in a murder case.
