It is winter in the Dalarna Province, central Sweden, when Mia, a determined young woman now living and working in Stockholm is driving home to take part in her fathers birthday celebrations.
When her father announces that he has left Mia the summerhouse by the lake, it causes resentment among the sisters and unspoken truths gradually surface, revealing family members and old friends entrapped in old "wounds", feelings of anxiety, loneliness, suppressed anger, and even death. Cert. 15.
