Hawa Essuman (2003)

The film follows 14-year-old Abila who lives with his parents in Kibera, one of the largest slums in east Africa.

When his father falls ill and tells Abila that his soul has been stolen, Abila seeks out the witch who took his father's soul. She sets him a series of seven tasks to complete in order to save his father's soul.

In Swahili with optional English and Dutch subtitles.
