An intermediate-level course in Swahili, designed as a follow-up to the 'Tuseme Kiswahili' beginner course.

The 17 substantial sections each contain a variety of texts chosen to reflect the diversity of culture and styles of communication that make up the African way of life in a range of Swahili-speaking areas.

Each section has a theme e.g. People's personalities and characteristics, Education, Illness, Raising children etc. and contain at least one dialoge and one longer reading text with extensive vocabulary, culture and grammar notes. Includes a Kiswahili-English, English Kiswahili glossary.
