Emir Kusturica (2004)

The film is set against the backdrop of the Bosnian war and follows Luka, a railwayman who has his life turned upside down when his wife leaves him for a musician and his son, who has been called up to fight, is captured.

Luka is told to guard a young Muslim nurse who has been taken hostage and will be exchanged for his son. However, in the process of guarding her he ends up falling in love.

In Serbian mainly with some spoken Hungarian, English and German and with optional English subtitles.
