A good 'get started' course, perfect for holiday or business trips, for learners who wish to be able to communicate verbally in Russian but not learn to read or write the Cyrillic script.

Organised as a six-week plan with a day-by-day guide, recommending 45 min. per day study time. Each week comprises slow introductory dialogues, word lists, flash-cards, grammar (kept to a minimum), speaking prompts (with optional extra section), and 'spot the keys' section that introduces fast spoken Russian with familiar 'key' words to help learners to cope with native speed.

Each week features a progress test and there are English-Russian and Russian-English dictionaries at the back of the book.
