A copy of the original FSI course from the 1960s, designed to help American intelligence personnel learn Kirundi quickly and efficiently.

Due to the nature of this course, very little grammar is covered and vocabulary is kept to the following topics; Greetings, looking for work, where do people live and work?, getting help in the language, family, directions, planning a short trip, buying food, buying clothes, eating, restaurants/kitchens, caring for children, weather, seasonal crops, geography of Burundi, visiting a friend's house, car trouble, the Government of Burundi.
