Pashto : an elementary textbook = Pushto : lumray kitab

This colour illustrated textbook (with sound + video files on CD-ROM) teaches the Pashto language of Afghanistan, and is based on the Western (or Kandahari) dialect.

It is arranged in ten lessons, introducing first the Pashto alphabet and script (transliterations are also included). In each lesson the learner will find on average 7-8 subsections, including dialogues, vocabulary, exercises, grammar notes and cultural notes.

Most of the units are in Roomaji transliteration with the basics of Japanese writing introduced gradually at the end of each unit.
