The film is set in Kabul, Afghanistan, after the defeat of the Taliban.

It follows the story of Noqreh, a young woman trying to get an education against her conservative father's wishes, in the hope of learning more about democracy and becoming the country's next president.

In Persian with some spoken Dari and with optional English subtitles.
