An elementary Persian language and culture textbook aimed at beginner level university students.

Comprises 10 units organised thematically around the usual topics (greetings & introductions, personal background, daily life, housing, shopping, travel, food, education, leisure time, visiting Iran), and using an integrative approach, with dialogues, drills, grammar explanations, and a variety of readings.

It includes an introductory chapter on the alphabet and sounds, and appendices with verb charts, glossary, and grammar review; audiofiles are available online at www.persianinuse.com.
