The film is based on a true story about a young man called Mateusz who suffers from cerebral palsy and is trapped inside a dysfunctional body.

Unable to speak, he has been diagnosed as retarded since childhood and it is only as an adult that they realise he has a perfectly normal and intelligent brain.

In Polish throughout with optional English and French subtitles.
