A reader containing a series of short stories, based on events from four generations of a fictional Polish family living in the town of Przemysl.

Written in an informal, narrative style, the texts contain many colloquialisms and expressions that occur in everyday home situations.

Each story is accompanied by Polish annotations and there is a full Polish-English glossary at the back of the book.
