This Polish film is a passionate and poetic fantasy about two young women, Veronika and Véronique: Veronika lives in Poland, Véronique lives in France.

They do not know each other, yet when Veronika collapses and dies during her début performance as a singer, Véronique is unconsciously affected by it and her life changes.
