A documentary on Occitan, filmed in southern France in 1989.

The documentary consists of four parts: the inhabitants of St-Sever-du-Moustier voice their opinions on Occitan and the erosion of its usage; a librarian who specialises in books on Occitan literature and culture; bilingual Occitan/French education in primary schools; Occitan poet Yves Rouquette expresses his views on Occitan.

Both French and Occitan are spoken and some subtitles are given in both languages.
