This book and the companion books 'Reading Latin : grammar, vocabulary and exercises' and 'An indepentent study guide to reading Latin' are designed to be used together to form a reading course for adult beginner's of Latin.
Begins with simplified versions of classical Latin texts, building in complexity until the student can eventually tackle unadulterated poetry and prose.
Vocabulary and practice exercises are provided in the grammar, vocabulary and exercise book, answers to the exercises feature in the independent study guide.
