This is the first comprehensive analysis of Kazakh grammar in the English language.

It focuses especially on syntax, but includes a section on morphology and one of phonology, with examples of contemporary usage of both written and spoken varieties in post-Soviet Kazakhstan.

It will be of interest to to linguists and scholars of Turkic languages.
