Kurdish reader : Modern literature and oral texts in Kurmanji

This collection of texts in Kurmanji, the northern dialect of the Kurdish language, is designed to help students with a basic knowledge of the Kurdish language to improve their fluency through a variety of texts (literary, folklore and non-fiction prose).

The first part of the book focuses on the literary works, part two presents a range of variants of Kurmanji from Turkey, Armenia, Russia, Syria, Iraqi Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, and others.

It contains two Kurdish-English glossaries and a grammar section; English translations of selected texts with an English-Kurdish dictionary of linguistic terms are also provided
