The film is a psychological drama and is based on a short story by Haruki Murakami.

Jong-Su bumps into an old childhood neighbour called Hae-mi, although he can't remember her. He agrees to feed her cat while she is away in Africa. She returns having supposedly been stranded at the airport for three days due to a terror warning and with her is a young man she met called Ben. As the three spend more time together, they are introduced to Ben's hobby, burning down old greenhouses but Jong-Su struggles to completely trust him.
