An intermediate course in Korean comprising a textbook and three CDs. Could be used as a follow-on from 'Essential Korean' or by anyone who has completed a beginner course and would like to further their conversational, reading and writing skills.
Comprises 20 lessons, divided into five units: Talking about family and occupations ; Everyday life ; School and work ; Making appointments and using the telephone ; Directions. Grammar notes provide thorough explanations in English for key points and extension exercises help set these into context. CDs can be used systematically with the textbook or as stand-alone listening practice.
