Kim Ki-duk (2007)

The film centres on the relationship between a 60 year old man and a 16 year old girl who he has raised in near seclusion on his fishing boat since she was a baby.

. It is agreed between them that they will get married on her 17th birthday; however the arrival of a teenage student on board the ship opens her eyes to new possibilities and throws her marriage plans into doubt.
