Two young men, Munyurangabo and his firend Sangwa, come from separate tribes - one, an orphan of the Rwandan genocide looking for revenge, and the other just returning home to his family.

They travel from Kigali to the countryside but heir friendship is put to the test when they arrive at Sangwa's village.
