This book is aimed at beginner to intermediate level students studying Rwanda or Rundi who wish to practice their reading and listening skills.

It comprises of 40 newspaper articles taken from Rwanda and Burundi periodicals from 1999-2001 which increase in complexity as the book progresses. Each article (selection) has its own sound clip on the accompanying audio CD so learners are able to hear the article read aloud.
