A fictionalized account of the 1978 kidnapping of former Prime Minister of Italy, Aldo Moro (1916-1978) by members of the radical left group, the Red Brigade (Brigate Rosse).

Contains archive footage from television reports of the era, World War 2 (execution of partisans) and Stalinist USSR.
