Centenary production of Verdi's opera filmed in the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi.

The Ethiopians and the Egyptians are at war and Ramade is leading the Egyptian troops out to fight. He is in love with a girl named Aida, little suspecting that she is actually daughter to the King of Ethiopia. When Ramade's army defeats the Ethiopian troops, he and Aida are forced to run away to pursue their love, with tragic results.

In Italian with English, French, German, Spanish and Italian subtitles.
