Nostalgic and affectionate drama about a young boy's love of film.

Salvatore, a prominent film director, makes a sentimental journey back to his hometown when he learns that an old friend of his has died. Once there, he reminisces about his childhood and adolescent experiences. Above all, he remembers his apprenticeship to the old projectionist Alfredo at the Cinema Paradiso. (Cert. PG)
