Whilst on a cruise with her friends, Anna goes missing on a deserted volcanic island in the Mediterreanean. Her lover, Sandro, and her friend, Claudia, go ashore to look for her. As they travel around Italy, the two fall in love, but their relationship fills Claudia with guilt and soon complicates their search for Anna. (Cert. PG)
