Baltasar Kormákur (2013)

The film is based on a true story about a man called Gulli, who is thrown into the sea with his crew when their fishing boat capsizes.

He swims for 6 hours in order to make it ashore and then has to cross volcanic terrain to make it to the nearest town where doctors and scientists are perplexed by his survival.
