An introductory course (with textbook and CD) in Southern Hokkien, mainly featuring the dialect most frequently spoken in Taiwan but with examples of Amoy, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou.
Takes a formal, linguistic approach, beginning with extensive work on sound structure and pronunciation work, followed by the introduction of vocabulary and grammar alongside reading and translation exercises.
All text is written in the Missionary Romanisation System (MRS) with English translation and simplified Chinese characters.
