The film is set in Jerusalem and follows Aaron, an orthodox Jew in his mid- thirties, who runs a butchers, has a wife and family but has always felt there was something missing in his life.

When Aaron hires 19 year old Ezri as his apprentice, their friendship quickly grows into something more, forcing Aaron to decide between love, loyalty and faith.
