Textbook starts with a section on pronunciation and the Hebrew writing system, followed by 30 short lessons introducing basic vocabulary and grammar, backed up by recordings on the CDs that incorporate both formal and colloquial speech.

The DVD is designed to be used after completing the book and comprises 25 conversations to test listening comprehension and understanding of the vocabulary and grammar structures illustrated in the course.
