This documentary covers the rise and fall of the European political state of Prussia in the time period between 1701 and 1947, but also follows events in 1991, when Friedrich Wilhelm I., the Soldier King, and Friedrich Wilhelm II., Frederick the Great or 'Old Fritz', are carried to their last resting place in Sanssouci Palace, Potsdam.

A useful documentary on a complex period of Prussian history, with historical terminology, suitable for advanced learners of German.
