This is a provocative collective film, or an anthology, chronicling seven weeks of political terrorism by the Red Army Faction (RAF) and political repression in Germany during the autumn of 1977.

. Throughout the film the directors skillfully blend in the terrorist presence and the Nazi past using archival film and newsreels.
