This extraordinary five-hour documentary arranged in two parts is filmed in Richard Wagners mansion Wahnfried near Bayreuth.
The documentary is interspersed with quotations from philosphers and writers, and a large number of photographs are shown during the interviews of the family and the house.
The latter partially dubbed into English with English subtitles, and captions for text quotes.
