Sophie Scholl
Breinersdorfer, Fred (2005)
This film depicts the true story of the members of a student resistant movement in Munich, "Die Weisse Rose," who attempt to speak out against the Nazi regime during the Second World War by distributing flyers at their university.
This is a compelling interpretation of a courageous woman’s protest and her treatment by an authoritarian regime, informed by hitherto unrevealed evidence from the time.
In German, with optional German subtitles. Also includes audio German version for visually-impaired users.
