The film follows a young boy called Mika who suffers from Asperger's and struggles to make friends.

When he discovers a real horse on his neighbour's balcony and offers to take him in temporarily, he also attracts the attention of an Indian girl at his school. The two have a shared interest and passion for horses and strike up a friendship.
