A prophet

Jacques Audiard (2010)

The film is about a 19 year old young man called Malik who cannot read or write and is sentenced to six years in prison.

He tries to keep his head down and stay out of trouble but is pulled into working for a Corsican gang who rule the prison and he gradually toughens up to prison life.
