A three-part course, three workbooks with six accompanying sound cassettes focusing on listening comprehension exercises at beginner to intermediate level.

Comprendre 1 is aimed at beginners and includes a useful introduction to the sounds of French pluspractice in picking out and matching particular sounds.
Comprendre 2 increases in complexity, using longer passages for comprehension exercises using informal-style work-place conversations.
Comprendre 3 includes more complex dialogues with listening plans and suggested pre and post listening activities.
