This is one installment of a series, ommissioned in the 1970s by La Société Radio-Canada (the French arm of the CBC-Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), aiming to connect young people with established scientific principles and, thorugh a programme of lively talks and experiments, demonstrate how they are practically applied in day-to-day modern living.
