La haine (1995)

Gritty urban drama.

During a riot in the outskirts of Paris, police beat an Arab youth into a coma. Vinz, a Jewish teenager from the same neighbourhood, threatens to execute a policeman if the boy dies. It's left to his friends, Saïd and African boxer Hubert, to subdue Vinz and talk him out of his violent plan.
