Autobiographical film journal.

Godard reflects on what the cinema is in the 20th century and what it might be in the future. The film explores Godard's place in film history and his attitudes towards the industry and artistry of filmmaking. He takes an improvisational approach to his account, attempting a kind of filmic poetry.
