Slapstick comedy.

François is an arrogant but gullible postman in the little town of Sainte Severe-sur-Indre. When the fair comes to town his friends persuade him to watch a short stunt film in one of the tents depicting improbable new methods employed by the US postal service. Taking the film seriously, François sets about recreating these apparently efficient new methods, but with only his bicycle. (Cert. U)
