Paul is a young man who has just completed his national service and is already disillusioned with civilian life. As his girlfriend tries to build herself a career as a pop singer, Paul becomes more isolated from his friends and peers. Based on the stories 'Le signe' and 'Le femme de Paul' by Guy De Maupassant.
