Karol, a Polish hairdresser, is divorced by his beautiful wife Dominique and finds himelf penniless on the streets of Paris. Missing his passport, he meets a fellow Pole who helps to smuggle him back to Warsaw. Once there, Karol is determined to get revenge on Dominique. (Cert. 15)
